This opens opportunity for people to read and analyse literary works from different point of view which lead to deeper understanding about the works. Besides that these approaches and studies enable the readers and researches to find connection between literature and others fields, which opened up a new world of interpretation. One of the studies is Queer studies or Sexual Diversity studies. This study relates to sexual orientation and gender identity. Firstly it was taught at University of California, Berkeley in the spring of 1970.
