This study aims to explore the types of serial verbs constuctions in Kupang Malay and also to define the way of constructing serial verbs in imperative constructions of Kupang Malay. The method in conducting this study was descriptive qualitative method. The researcher did observation by participating in social communication, taking notes and also did in-dept interview. The result of this study indicates that serial verbs in imperative constructions of Kupang Malay commonly use directional verbs such as mari ‘come’, pi ‘go’, bawa ‘bring’ and action verb like dudu ‘sit down’, bardiri ‘stand’ and so on. The serial verbs in Kupang Malay are constructed by (1) placing the verb which has the main notion of the all events at the beginning of the sentence and (2) placing event proposition verb after other sequence verbs
