Isi artikelThis paper aims to explain market structure and competitive strategy in Indonesia automotive industry. Automotive industry in Indonesia can be classified as tight-oligopoly. In that industry, there are barriers to entry and its products are differentiated-oligopoly (sedan and niaga, etc). Market structure automotive industry is ologopoly. How is about their conduct or competitive strategy in that industry? Based on observation, they tend to use non-price competition strategy. Non-price competition strategy can be broken down into (1) product development), (2) promotion and advertising, and (3) product distribution.
