The study was conducted in two steps. The first step determine the optimal condition for bioconversion of cassava solid waste. Fermentation of cassava solid waste into single cell protein (SCP) was by Aspergilus Niger fungi. Optimal fermentation was based on improvement of protein content in SCP. The second step as to substitute fish flour in chicked feed with SCP in concentration of 0 (control), 3, 6, 9, 12 and 15 percentages. Observation of parameters was done within seven weeks of chicken breeding. The results showed that improvement of cassava solid waste fermented by Aspergillus niger was between percentages of 7.04 and 23.20. The effect of fish flour substitution with SCP was not significant on feed consumption, chicken weight and feed conversion (p>.05). This indicated that chicked feed with SCP had the same efficiency as control (content of fish flour was 15% without SCP). Feed conversion was very good, on average 1.53. The use od SCP in chicked feed was considered safe because no chicken died within seven weeks of breeding.
