This research is aimed to investigate whether the level of the use of Enterprise Resource Planning System (ERPS) by Indonesian companies affect the firm performance based on balanced scorecard approach directly or on the other hand is moderated by strategic alignment. This research also assess the performance differences between companies those apply the ERPS with SCM and the companies those apply the ERPS without SCM. Data was collected through visit the company directly, delivered by mail or e-mail. Data analysis was conducted by using Structural Equation Models. The results show that the level of the use of ERPS directly influence the firm’s performance which measure from financial perspective, customer perspective, internal process perspective, and learning and growth perspectives. Strategic alignment has been proven as a moderating variable in the relationship between the levels of the use of the ERPS with the firm’s performance. Finally, the the modules addition such as SCM significantly affect the firm performance.
