Every company which makes decision to expand their business mostly needs funds. There are many alternatives resources than can be chosen. For example banking loans, owner equity, business profits, go public, etc. Every resources that chosen exactly has consequence that must be covered by the company. To measure financial performance a company can used financial ratio analysis tools, such as leverage, liquidity, efficiency, profitability and market value ratios. To know how optimal the company manages their financial can used comparison analysis, such as histrorically comparison, with other company in the same industry, or with other company in the different industry. To know the relation between financial performance, in this case is financial ratio, with stock price we can calculate correlation coefficient. And to look what stock price at one time influenced by stock price before can used test with simple regression for some time lags.
