Isi artikelIn 1947 Arab Leaque had entrusted Mohammad Abdul Mun’im, an Egypt diplomat accredited in India, with a duty to deliver the recognition of the Leaque to the Republic of Indonesia (RI). He had broken through the blocade of the Netherlands. His success of delivering the Leaque’s message had had a decisive implication to the international status of RI. Following his visit, RI as soon as possible sent its diplomats to the Middle East. Furthermore, the States of the members of the Leaque recognized the RI. In the sessions of the United Nations Security Council (SC) which discussed Indonesian questions, the Arab States which was a member of the SC carried the interest of the RI on their back. This support had a great influence on the international status of the RI in the revolution decade.
