This paper investigates that the representation of women at the CEO level at many transnational companies is still scarce due to the cultural paradigm that located mother's role as first priority compared to having career. Unfortunately recruitment system supported this discriminatory mandate by posing typical questions to every female candidate with the following: "Are you married or having children?" A question which is never being asked to male candidates. Law No 25 Year 2004 urged company to place gender equality and empowerment as part of the crucial program to achieve corporate social responsibility.
