Being one of the pillars of liberalism, the moral principle of eguality is highly criticized due to the injustice that can be a consequence of its rigorous application, Whereas the case of the principle of equality is precisely a case against injustice. On the one hand, every man is born equal and should be treated egually. On the other hand, they are socio culturally different in many aspects and should be treated accordingly. The answer the question, this article maintains that the principle of equality and the difference principle are taken from two different levels, namely the ontological level and the socio cultural level. This amounts to saying that discrimination can be morally valid as far as it is understood as a respect for personal uniqueness and self identity.
