Isi artikelThe career of a lecturer can only be promoted through academic functional positions because it is through holding an academic functional position that the lecutrer's responsibility and work is officially acknowledged. This study attempts to understand the effect that salary increase, level of academic responsibility and promotion to private university leadership positions have on the lecturer's motivation to work on meeting the administrative requirements for promotion in private univesities in semarang.
