In general this research, to see how the rehabilitation program is, how’s the interaction, social adaptation, and also the self concept of ex prostitute before and after joins the rehabilita- tion. This research will be very interesting to be done, because when researcher revealed the subjective reality from one prostitute that enter and join the rehabilitation process, the adapta- tion readiness also will be revealed. This research that was going on emic was done by deeper interview method, observation, and documentation study as a technic in getting the data. This research shows that the self concept of ex prostitute is negative before enter the rehabilitation (when become a prostitute) based on the subject motivation to be a prostitute, and also as a self image of physic perception, mental, and social during as a prostitute. Beside that it is also found self concept polarization become a positive and negative self concept after join the rehabilitation based on the the perception of physic, social, and mental. From the self concept polarization, it is formed to be three typology of ex prostitute; they are optimistic ex prostitute, dilemmatic ex prostitute, and pessimistic ex prostitute. In social adaptation readiness concept context, it is also found three classification of social adaptation readiness of ex prostitute in Bina Karya Wanita “Harapan Mulya” Rehabilitation Kedoya Jakarta to be: ex prostitute ready to adaptation, ex prostitute unready and pragmatic or conditional ex prostitute.
