This paper is the product of a philosophical questioning of our university and its people. The question like "How to motivate people to learn important truths?" is a philosophical question because of its importance to human fluorishing and the rational defendability of the positions. The focus of the paper is on the errors or the drives to learn as a fundamental nature of university as a community of people who come to the learn important truth. The position to be defended is that to have intellectual excellence means to grow in the important truth. The goal of this philosophizing is to have an understanding of the nature of learning in the university as a human activity.
