The border problem between Indonesia and Malaysia is not a new issue. It has actually been around since Malaysia gained its independence from Britain in 1964. Ironically, the national development so far is not directed to resolve the border issue. If any, it merely solves the problem at a time and never touches the diginity of the actual needs of the communities. This condition creates disappointment and despair of the people who live in the border, which we can see from their expressions during our visit (SIMADA V program) in Entikong. The onteresting thing happens, when the students of UPN "Veteran SIMADA V in Entikong, is that there is a natural instinct comes out from the students that they have implemented a strategy of war Sun Tzu-style in order to gain the hearts of people to love NKRI.
