Some people believe that women's working outside the household is a threat to their feminity, while others consider that being a fulltime housewife will not support women's self esteem development. However as presented in the present paper, there is no significant difference between fulltime housewives' feminity and self esteem, compared to working women's. Women's self esteem is determined more by how they perceive their role and how involved they are with the role, whether as house wives or working women. Thus in order to decide whether a woman has to become a full time housewife or a working woman or both, she must be able to choose by her own free will without any pressure from the society.
