Isi artikelThe study aims at finding out the relationship between several independent variables and one criterion variable. The former covers two learner's variables, namely their degree of extroversion and learning strategies, and the latter is their oral communication proficiency. The analysis showed that diversity of strategies was the best predictor to oral communication proficiency, overriding the factors of extroversion degree, The implication is that, while EFL learners' personality would remain inherent and fixed, much can still be done to shape their strategies so that they grow more conducive to the development of oral communication skills.
