Indonesia has had the honour to host the APEC meeting in 1995, considered to be one of the most important economic summits of the last year. Originally an Australian concept, boosted later by USA, Asian leaders took over the responsibility for some very substantial economic issues. What is the economic and political topics were discussed in the margin of the APEC meeting? And last, but not least, what does Indonesia get out of APEC forum? In this article we try to give some answers to these questions.
