Isi artikelVibration is an important factor that is always concerned in every operation of the rotary machine. The most common cause of vibration that occurs in a rotary machine is unbalance. This paper investigate experimentally the dynamic balancing using phase angle method and analyze the influence of dynamic unbalance before and after balancing. This paper use experiment research method by balancing repeated with the different parameter of trial and unbalance mass. From the result of the unbalance reduction ratio test, is shown that this paper has successfully balanced dynamic unbalance of double disk rotor with unbalance reduction ratio above 62% using balancing program. Also, it shown that the determination of the mass and position of the trial and correction mass greatly influence the success of balancing.
