Isi artikel
We particularly affirm the importance of dialogue between people of different faiths. It is important not only in multi-religious contexts but equally where there is a large majority of a particular faith. It is necessary to protect rights of minority groups and religious freedom and to enable all to contribute to the common good of all in the community. Religious freedom should be upheld because it flows from the very dignity of the human person which is grounded in the creation of all human beings in the image and likeness of God (Genesis 1:26). Followers of all religions and beliefs have equal rights and responsibilities.
