Oxygen from aerobic metabolism produces free radical through autooxidation, enzymatic oxidation, fagocitosis during respiration, electron transport in mitochondrion, oxidation within the transition of alloy ion or through ischemic. The free radical which reacts with DNA may damage on the position of C8 DNA and form the C-8 adduct radical and then reduced to 8-hydroxiguanin (8-OHG) as the parameter of oxidative stress. DNA mutation induced the formation of carsinogenic agents as the dominan factor to form cancer.
