Verification of the indicators and potential threat for seed supply of local paddy . Modern Agriculture System have purpose to change local-based paddy seed become superior paddy seeds. One of the goals is increasing productifity,its not seeing problem of existence from local-based paddy seeds. Now, It was estimated that local paddy seeds had gone from irrigated rice-field and warehouse of local paddy seeds, because many farmer had change it. The high dependent to superior paddy seed cause the food security decreas. The availability and variety of local-based paddy seeds are the key factor for food security in a particular area. This paper will verify ten indicators for local paddy seed sector. Some potential threats for the sustainability of the local seed system will be discussed. Paper will be ended with conclusion of farmers' ability to produce their own seeds, and some recommendation will be provided.
