To solve this problem, this study wants to propose making a potential MRT stations with method of using Maximum Covering Set and then connected all potential stations with Minimum Spanning Tree. After that the carbon emissions MRT that resulted with resulted routes will be compared with other types of transportation. The average carbon emissions that resulted from MRT routes is 1104.656 g CO2 which is low compared to other types of transportation.
