Electrical power exchanges is unit commitment problem of power plants that involve non - linearity and combinatorial complexity problems, so computing time of solution become Non - deterministic Polynomial Complete (NP - Complete). Hopfield Artificial Neural Network is the answer of most complex problems like optimization of electrical power exchanges problem with more constraint involved. The production cost with global optimization is about 1,64 times cheaper than with local. The other result is, the production cost with global optimization is cheaper than with local until 79 % losses value of transmission network. At 80 %, the production cost with global optimization become more expensive than with local.
