Identifying image file has basic term in image processing subject, pattern recognition particularly. Moreover, the pattern recognition process has relation with the changing from certain pattern into certain voice. In this research will study how to recognize musical notation system which notes are assigned numbers ; afterwards the result will transfer into suitable note. The objective is to find out which method is dominant most in pattern recognition process. The method use is Artificial Intelligence (AI) which will be applied in recognition phase. The research result shows that AI has satisfying result, because learning process is possible to recognize pattern. The system can recognize image in the similarity ratio of 0,9.
