The development of information technology has speed up the emergence of various multimedia system programs. Adobe Flash is one of a multimedia software that can be used to create animation, websites, multimedia presentations and others. ActionScript, the programming language used for Adobe Flash, can create highly interactive applications. By using ActionScript, the user can control all the objects that are in Adobe Flash applications. Unika Atma Jaya Semanggi’s area mapping application is a simulation software that was made using Adobe Flash. This application consists of finding a short part at the global map, the search path at a specific location and searching specific location using search engine. To search specific location, this application is using A Star (A *) algorithm. From the result of several tests, all simulations of Unika Atma Jaya Semanggi’s area mapping application can be done with this application.
