Abstract
Employees play an important role in a company. Any sophisticated equipment owned by the company, if there is no qualified human resources, the production process will not run properly. The role of employees in the company becomes very important because they can control all the activities in the company. The role of employees in a company was so great, so they should be considered as an asset and not as a factor of production. To avoid high employee turnover, company is obliged to preserve and maintain employee owned, because by maintaining and retaining employees will be more profitable when compared with the recruitment of new employees. The purpose of this study was to determine factors that influence employee retention. Methods of quantitative research methods used and the object of research employees of PT. KMK Global Sport totaled 14499 people. Data collection were obtained using questionnaires. Sampling technique used random sampling proportional manner. With a total sample of 200 people.Validity and reliability of questionnaires used SPSS and to determine the factors that influence employee retention, the data obtained were processed using AMOS 18. The conclusion of the result showed that compensation and coworkers effect on job satisfaction, Interpersonal Communication has no effect on job satisfaction. Compensation, coworkers, Interpersonal Communication, and job satisfaction has no effect on retention of employees The suggestion is that companies have to be creative in managing employees so they can manage to have high employee retention rate.
