In same churches, contextualization has become a terrifying and intimidating word. Even though they know that contextualization will bring the church towards more meaningful worship to God, some are reluctant to move from their "comfort zone". Church music contextualization should be understood as a must so that the church will not loose its context within the cultural values that surround it. To borrow I-to Loh's words, church music contextualization is the approach that Christians need to take in order to plant the new seed of Gospel in our own cultural soil.
