Abstract
Women are often considered underestimated for their contribution to the family's economic or income. Despite the fact that women have a great potential of seeking additional income for families, especially for housewives and women who work with flexible time, such as teachers or parttime employees. One thing that women can do, to increase their family economy with a flexibility of time, is to become an entrepreneur. However, it takes an entrepreneurial intention to become an entrepreneur. This article will show the research outcome on entrepreneurial intention among women, especially the mothers of students and female teachers at Elementary School 01 Pluit North Jakarta. The purpose of this research is to get an overview of the entrepreneurial intentions among respondents. The main concept used in this research is 3 dimensions entrepreneurial intention from Ajzen which are: attitude toward behavior, subjective norm and perceived behavioral control. This research used quantitative research methodology using non-random sampling techniques that is accidental sampling with a sample amount of 53 respondents. The data analysis technique used is the mean score. The result showed that respondents gave positive answers to all three dimensions of entrepreneurial intentions. The conclusion is respondents showed high entrepreneurial intentions score, although for perceived behavioral control shows the lowest number among those three dimensions. This high level of entrepreneurial intentions can be upgraded with the specific of entrepreneurial trainings and other incentives to start the business so that they can become entrepreneur in order to support the family economy.
