When reading stories we often have the impression that the many authors use Free Indirect Style which has a combination of a direct and an indirect speech. People believe that this style causes the story to be not fully objective giving the readers the impression that the author is a super knower who takes sides in the plot. Based on the study of various fictions. I believe that this style is very effective in the presentation of certain parts of the story which are psychological in nature.
