Abstract
Effective counseling program requires school counselors to evaluate comprehensively and systematically. School counseling program evaluation is a systematic process of gathering and analyzing information about the effectiveness and effects of school counseling programs on the academic, career, and personal/social development of students. Developing an evaluation model is urgent for school counselors to have a professional tool in conducting evaluation. For school counselors who are looking for guidelines for their professional works in school counseling program evaluation, implementing the CIPPO evaluation model to the counseling work as a conceptual framework is recommended. The CIPPO evaluation model is designed for school counselors as an answer to the urgent needs of a counseling evaluation model. This model uses a holistic framework to emphasize the comprehensive needs of school counselors.
