Data were collected through written form of pre-test and post-test. The results of the study show that the students from the experimental group obtained positive results by utilizing story mapping as a technique to improve their writing skills. Meanwhile, the students from control group also achieved some improvement even though without using story mapping. However, these improvements can be seen significantly in experimental group due to the treatment process.
