Student-to-student interaction is essential since the student becomes the primary participant in the learning process and it can increase their language ability, communication skills, and confidence. The theoretical framework that guides this study are the importance of satisfaction in EFL learning, student-to-student interaction in blended learning, and the use of collaborative learning. This study investigated students’ satisfaction with student-to-student interaction during collaborative learning in a blended class and to gain insight into how student-to-student interaction during collaborative learning can be improved in the teaching and learning process. The participants were 44 undergraduate students from the English Education Department, Faculty of Education and Language, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. To see their responses, the students were asked to fill out a questionnaire consisting of 14 items. The data were analyzed using SPSS’s descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that students have high satisfaction when they have the opportunity to interact with their peers to help them learn more. |
