Isi artikelThe development of human capital is a never ending process. The old paradigm has been shifted into the new mind set, which is totally different. The old paradigm said that a quality product, good promotion strategy, and wide distribution channel are the important indicators of a successful company. Now, we have to respond to the area that places human capital as the most important aspect in the company. As time goes by, the company begins to realize the importance of sustainability at high performance level. It could be reached through the human capital development. An University has also different obligation a company, not only in pursuing profit or becoming a profit center. It has various and unique human capital to properly developed either academic or non academic sectors. This paper focuses on the human capital development especially regarding the the process, competency, and the talent management. At the end, it considers the concept and the practical implementation at the higher education sector, or university. In other words, the strategy and focus are about to change.
