This defect is caused by strand polymer sticking before the cutting process. This research aims to reduce the double chip defect during pelletizing process using Automatic Maag, machine type USG 900V by controlling some operating parameters such as cooling water temperature, cooling water debit, angle slope and groove on the startup device plate polymer.
