The study aims to investigate the student’s perception regarding the use of peer feedback in micro-teaching class. The participants of this study are students who are taking a Micro-Teaching course at the English Language Education Department, Faculty of Education and Language, Atma Jaya Catholic University of Indonesia. In this study, 10 participants were asked to fill out the questionnaire in Google form consisting of 20 items to find out about their perceptions towards peer feedback and their spoken feedback that they received as one of the micro-teaching aspects in micro- teaching class. The results of the study showed that the participants received spoken and written feedback in Micro-Teaching class and most of them believe it is beneficial for them, they also agree that giving peer feedback is also fun, interesting, and makes them feel happy. The student-teachers also concurred that they are enthusiastic about giving feedback to their peers and the feedback does not make them feel nervous. Further research may include more participants with more extensive observations, which may then provide various types of feedback that the students receive during the class. Moreover, the kinds of feedback that might have been received by the student-teachers, so the findings could get more insight related to the types of feedback that the student- teachers receive. |
