| This study aims to find out whether video games are effective in helping young EFL learners learn new words incidentally. The participants of this research are children aged 5-7 years with different skill background in South Tangerang. Before starting the study, the researcher asked young learners to do a pre-test to see their knowledge of the list of words used. After doing the pre-test, the researcher asked young learners to play a game called "Murdered in The Alps". After that, a post-test was carried out to see the increase in vocabulary after being treated using videogames. The results of the study show that video game effective to help the young EFL learners to increase their vocabulary. |
