The central issue in current computing is collaboration and resource sharing that focuses on mobility, easy maintenance and scalability. Trend of computing has shifted from local computing that relies on resources in certain location to global computing where the resources can be anywhere and owned by multi users. The latter paradigm depends intensely on internet services. The most popular model of this global computing is known as cloud computing. This article discusses the evolution in computing, the issue in cloud computing, its benefit as well as its risk.
