Prior to this study, a pilot-study was carried out to validate the GERD-HRQL questionnaire in lndonesian language. Spearman analysis was used to find the correlation between GERD-Q scores and quality of life in patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms.
Results
The results of this study indicated that the GERD-HRQL questionnaire showed good validity and reliability. The results of this study showed a strong positive correlation (r = 0.681) between the GERD-Q scores and quality of life in patients with upper gastrointestinal symptoms.
