Isi artikelQuality is the most important factor toward customer’s concern to buy products. Customer will choose the best quality product among several similar products. Therefore, the quality control system should be the important manner for the manufacturer. In general, beverage companies produce their products in huge number unit. Inspection as a part of quality control system should be performed in short time without interrupt the existing process. Sampling procedure are taken to overcome the time limitation, however several reject products might be passed to the customer. This research was done to design an automated visual inspection system which is integration between online inspection system and statistical process control. A beverage product was taken to be the object for inspection to see the system’s functionality. The system will be included the online inspection process and perform the quality control report based on statistical process control. As a result, the systems’ software has been confirmed to do the waste monitoring over the production process based on common customer perception to buy products such as its label accuracy and volume.
