This research divulges various policies introduced by the government of the Riau Archipelago Province to enhance the development of its potential industrial sectors. The province has been chosen as locus of the research due to its importance role in industrialization, where the Batam special economic zones located. By gathering information through interviews and using qualitative method, the research findings indicated that the regional government has made policies which has supported the development of its potential industrial sectors. Some examples of them are the creation of training centers, inexpensive housing compounds and apartments for workers, simpler process of business permit, increasing power supply and improving infrastructure condition to support the mobility of good and people.
