Isi artikelThe article on weapons smuggling is a descriptive-analytical research which applies a qualitative method. Data was gathered through library research and field works, and series of in-depth interviews. Its research findings reveals Indonesia's regions which are vulnerable from weapons smuggling, particularly along the country's sea-borders with South China Sea and Pacific Ocean, as well as along its borders with Malaysia, Thailand, and the Philippines. The research results also disclose that non-state and traditional actors involvements in weapons smuggling are difficult to be overseen. In addition to this, globalization and the rise of the non-state actors role post-Cold War give a threat to domestic security.
