The current study explored how Indonesian teachers implemented Connectivism in EFL classroom as they were teaching argumentative text online. The research aimed to scrutinize the implementations done Indonesian teachers based on each principle of Connectivism. In the pursuit of determining the implementation of Connectivism by Indonesian teachers, the researcher interviewed six Indonesian teachers using questions based on Senior’s five connectivity dimensions. Then, the findings are analysed in accordance with implementations of Connectivism in online EFL classroom. The results of the study show that Indonesian teachers implement Connectivism principles when they are teaching argumentative text online. However, some of them faced struggles in implementing the principles due to time limitation and lack of technology knowledge. Hence, several recommendations for teachers and Indonesian government are proposed. |
