The aim of this study examined the risk factors on of odor identification performance without dementia. Methods: This study was a cross sectional study, a number of 378 participants with age of > 60 years, from 2011-2015 at Active Aging Research Study. We examined olfactory Nerve function using 10 odors commonly found in Indonesia. In the absence of standardized adjusted odor identification test norms, we divided the participants into stratified tertiles labeled good, moderate, and poor, roughly corresponding to clinical impairment clasification by percentile (<25, 25 - >75, and above 75). We performed characteristics of demogrphy, language performance, depression, laboratory assesment and smoking. Results: The majority of respondents are women in 240 (63.5%) and mean age were 66.1+6.9. Education, Boston Naming Test (BNT), Verbal Fluency Test (VFT) scores were significantly associated with poorer Ol. Neither study found association of Age, HDL, LDL, depression, gender, smoking and diabetes. In Multivariat analyze, we found that BNT and VFT consistent as factors of poorer Ol.
