The Indonesian leaders should better follow a local moral guidance that is other than the Western leadership paradigm. More importantly, the manuscript of Serat Jatipusaka Makutha Raja contains those principles originated from the Javanese cultural tradition. Furthermore, the paper reveals the ethics of the rules, which would provide public officials to implement their leadership.
