Isi artikelGiant global retailers are pushing their suppliers to use electronic data interchange (EDI) in the exchange of business documents. Nowadays, EDI transactions serve as a major component of the giant retailer’s supply chain management model that drives its supply chain process. The EDI requirement posses a technical challenge to SME’s in Southeast Asia. If SME’s want to remain globally engaged, they must embrace EDI. With cost-effective helps from third-party service providers, SME’s can easily overcome this challenge and further exploit the strengths of high value-added software to improve their administrative and operational efficiency.
