The self-power consumption of waste heat generator in The Siam Cement plant (KhaoWong) was reduced by using task achieve QC story with some special tools. FMEA was used to assess the risk of the machine and the process. DOE was used to identify significant factors and to optimize the process parameters. The optimal solution was implemented, resulting in lowering self-power consumption from 1.66 MW to 1.12 MW.
