Although Already practiced for a considerable time, Corporate Social Responsibility is much later introduced as a concept in Indonesian business law. Although starting from the same premise that business corporate bear social responsibility, a number of laws defines and regulate this concept rather differently. This variety in legal regulation will certainty affect how this CSR will be understand and implemented. It is suggested that a new special law should be formulated with a number of implementing regulations if need be. It should however also offer flexibility in the part of business corporations on how to realize their social responsibility
