Isi artikelLaw and technology are two different branch of science, however both needs each other. Technological progress tends to run faster than the ability of legal development to catch up. Legal positivism reduced law as mere technological device. Law in this context reads as an operating manual. Even the judiciary in this process becomes to be perceived as a mere machine which function it to produce decisions. While court decisions should be produce fairness, certainly and be socially useful, apparently certainly has been considered far more important. In this sense that law has been perceived as a technological tool, conscience had been sidelined. To offset this tendency we should initiate an epistemological dialogue between law and technology.
