Isi artikelSeveral months ago, a number of our colleagues were discussing an article form one of the leading journals in human resource management. It was concerned with an international human resource management issue. The lack of an international focus in the article was curious, it was an attempt to take what we do in the united states and force fit it to different cultural parameters. For several decades, management researchers subscribed to the convergence theory of international human recource management literature recognized that this universal perspective was limited.
