Isi artikelThis article discusses on development of post-reform election result 1999, 2004 and 2009. Particularly election 2009, the face of politics in Indonesia was marked by many family members of politicians entered the political stage. The sons and daughters of former president, governor, and regent/mayor become the members of parliament and local parliament. The argument used here is in a democratic state, all citizens have the same rights to be elected as the people's representatives or execute institution. Reform mandate of fighting corruption, collusion, and nepotism is as if lost in the political process post reform election. The question is for what and for who is democracy? How far political ethic is must be built to build democracy which is more oriented to public interest not for the interest of politician family. This article attempts to ask how the politician members enter the political stage in Indonesia.
