The research are: (1) know the profile of SME business centers in Tabanan regency, (2) identify the factors that determine the success of SMEs in the business center if Tabanan regency. Data collection methods are not structured interviews, documentation, and observation. While data analysis using the analysis of Structural Equation Model (SEM) with a sub-program analysis of Moment Structure (AMOS) 4.0, and descriptive qualitative methods. Important findings: 1) SMEs in Tabanan regency until the end of 2006 both formal and non formal numbering as many as 53 fruits with 4843 units, 21.281 employment of labor, Rp65.685.816.000.000 investments value, and value of production 00 Rp189.962.321.000.000,00 are spread throughout the central business district of Tabanan. SMEs in each village, has a superior or a specific product that reflects the typical village. 2) the determinants of a significant formation by endogenous (internal), the human resource factor is determined by the ability of managers and skilled workforce, access to capital is determined by capital, is marginal production determined by standardizing for the sake of efficiency, the raw materials, marketing is determined by the marketing system, the availability of marketing infrastructure, promotion and exogenous factors (external) is determined by the government infrastructure services, information technology, payments and no formal, legal and illegal to the success of SME business centers intervention in an effort to empower SMEs.
